The heart is lead by weighty eyes, the valves too swollen now to stimulate the mind. How many souls could satisfy the starving body, blood-soaked and born to flame? Over and over, the feeding persists. Slower than sober the cycle begins (and he's gone from grace).

Was God in the classroom? Did he guide the bullets? What about the children? Would some church have saved them?

Seventeen dead, seven angels sigh, "may you parade on palms like Jesus Christ!" Action on action, the bleeding persists. Violence on violence, the cycle begets rise to aimless scourge.

Trigger man, or a child being all he can? A zealot boy born of flame, to which he'll return. Misled and shameless, no dialogue to tame him. Was it nature or nurture that armed the monster?

Blind led by blinder zealots.
